Blackberry Habanero Baked Brie

🍯🔥 Wheel of warm, oozing brie, crowned with a sweet-and-fiery Global Wok Blackberry Habanero glaze and toasted pecans. It's the kind of appetizer that stops conversation at the table, then starts a much better one. 🧀✨

This recipe pairs the deep berry sweetness 🫐 of our Blackberry Habanero Hot Sauce with the slow-building heat 🌶️ of habanero, baked right into a golden, gooey wheel of brie. Serve with crusty baguette 🥖, crackers 🍘, or sliced apples 🍏 for the perfect balance of creamy, sweet, and spicy.

Recipe

Prep Time: 25 Minutes

Cook Time: 15 Minutes

Servings: 4

Ingredients

1 wheel (8 oz) brie cheese
1/3 cup Global Wok Blackberry Habanero Hot Sauce
1/4 cup pecans, chopped and toasted
1 tablespoon honey (optional, for extra sweetness)
1 sprig fresh rosemary or thyme, for garnish
Baguette slices, crackers, or apple slices, for serving

Prep & Cooking Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a small baking dish or cast iron skillet with parchment paper.
2. Place the brie wheel in the dish and score the top in a crosshatch pattern with a sharp knife, cutting just through the rind.
3. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the brie is soft and starts to puff, but still holds its shape.
4. Remove from the oven and immediately spoon the Blackberry Habanero Hot Sauce over the top, letting it pool into the scored cuts.
5. Sprinkle with toasted pecans and drizzle with honey, if using.
6. Return to the oven for 2-3 minutes, just until the sauce is warmed through and glistening.
7. Garnish with fresh rosemary or thyme and serve immediately with baguette, crackers, or apple slices for scooping.
